Photography by Fran Klotz wants to insure that you will have a great Senior Portrait Session with results you love.

Some "things"
to keep in mind.
bulletA deposit in the amount of the session fee is required at the senior portrait session. Please arrange to bring it with you.
bulletIf you plan to use any coupons or special promotional offers, please bring them to the portrait session.
bulletPlease arrive at your session on time. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so that you are more relaxed when the session begins. It will also give you some time to look at portraits in the studio for ideas that can be tailored for your session.
bulletFeel free to bring extra outfits along if you aren't sure how they will photograph. We will gladly assist you. Also, bring some clothing that is more formal and some that is more casual or reflects your personal style.
bulletDo you have some specific ideas for your senior portraits? Bring along samples to show us what you have in mind. Bring any props you think would be fun or express your individuality. Think of locations you might want to go to during your session.
"What should I wear?" is a question we frequently hear. The following is a list of recommendations based on our experience.
bulletTo look as slender as you are in real life, avoid horizontal lines and avoid wearing white (except for high-key white on white ideas). Instead, wear long sleeves and dark colors.
bulletAvoid too "summery" of a look for all your poses. Avoid sleeveless clothing.
bulletBring at least one outfit that is formal (like a sweater, dress, shirt and tie, suit, etc.) to create a classic and timeless portrait…
(The kind that keep parents happy.)
bulletChoose colors that compliment your skin tone as well as your personality.
bulletRemember to dress from head to toe. Don't forget accessories like socks, belts, shoes or jewelry.
bulletFor outdoor sessions, casual clothing works well. Choose colors that you see in nature like greens, blues, browns, rose, burgundy or violet. Avoid black or white.
Other tips you might find useful.
bulletDon't fret about blemishes. With the miracle of retouching we can usually make them disappear.
bulletAvoid getting a sunburn before your session. Sunburns cannot be retouched.
bulletDetails are important. Be sure that wrinkles are pressed out of clothing and that your finger nails are clean and trimmed.
bulletConsider bringing along translucent powder to eliminate facial shine.
bulletAvoid a brand new hairstyle or haircut. You won't look like you. Also, be sure to have your hair ready when you arrive at the studio so you will only need a quick touch-up before the session.
bulletIf you wear glasses, consider taking the lenses out of your frames for your session. Lenses cause distortion to your facial features and frequently glare from lighting.
bulletEven for a "natural" look, please consider wearing some makeup to even out skin tones and draw attention to important features like eyes and lips.
